ABOUT US
MathematiX club at National Institute of Science of Education and Research (NISER) hosts various activities of interest for math enthusiasts of NISER, with undergraduate students being the target audience. Since its inception in 2009, its prime motive has been to introduce students to topics not generally encountered in the undergraduate curriculum and provide a platform to students where mathematical ideas can be discussed and debated.
The club's primary activity is to organize various kinds of student seminars on a weekly basis. Apart from enhancing mathematical knowledge, these seminars also help students enhance their communication skills.
Other auxiliary club activities include problem-solving challenges and hands-on demonstration of mathematical concepts using physical objects/puzzles.
